Syntegrity as a foresight tool

a three day workshop

This research explores Team Syntegrity as a potential new addition to the Foresight toolkit and asks: What are the potential benefits (or deficiencies) of Team Syntegrity for scenario planning in the possible futures of retail?

A three-day syntgerity workshop revealed 8 new strategic directions in response to the question, "As a consumer, what should the future of retail look like in 2040?". The outputs of this work were then used as a foundation for a foresight project.  A 2x2 matrix was developed, 4 scenarios were created, and 8 new ideas for retailers emerged. These ideas were wind tunnelled based on 4 strategic directives, and new creative ideas were delivered to answer the question of what retail could be in 2040 based on the current drivers of change.
