PROJECT SUMMARY
Throughout this term-long project, students engaged in ongoing discussions surrounding AI as a creative partner rather than simply a tool for efficiency. In multiple instances, students developed written blog posts that incorporated AI-supported workflows, while being encouraged to use AI to shape, challenge, and refine their thinking rather than generate content on their behalf. Honest reflective discussions emerged around authorship, authenticity, and voice, with students recognizing that the most impactful writing consistently came from personal insight and lived perspective. While AI-generated outputs often appeared polished and technically strong, students critically observed that these responses frequently lacked depth, emotional resonance, and individual character. These conversations became an important component of developing digital literacy, reflective practice, and ethical awareness surrounding emerging creative technologies.
