CREATIVE BRIEF EXAMPLE

Through a range of high school outreach initiatives, students from Interior Design collaborated with peers from Interior Decorating, Graphic Design, and, where possible, programs such as Museum Studies and Game Design to develop engaging public-facing experiences that introduced prospective students to creative disciplines and design thinking. These events encouraged students to work across disciplinary boundaries, negotiate different creative approaches, and collectively develop immersive and experiential programming that reflected the collaborative nature of contemporary design practice. By engaging directly with younger learners and the broader community, students strengthened communication, leadership, and teamwork skills while gaining experience translating complex creative ideas into accessible, interactive experiences.
