STUDENT WORK EXAMPLE

Through iterative experimentation and ongoing reflection, students explored rapidly evolving AI workflows and emerging creative technologies that, in many cases, had not been publicly accessible the term prior. Rather than treating AI as static software to master, students engaged with it as a constantly evolving ecosystem requiring adaptability, critique, and continuous learning. Students tested emerging tools, compared outputs, documented failures and breakthroughs, and explored how AI could reshape visualization, storytelling, and experiential communication within design practice. In many of the accompanying videos, AI animation systems transformed still or partially rendered student environments by introducing movement, atmosphere, animated water, people, lighting, and environmental effects that significantly enhanced realism and immersion. These technologies also introduced a level of cinematic professionalism and realism beyond what many student-accessible rendering engines currently achieve, particularly in overcoming aspects of the uncanny valley often present in digital visualizations.
